It's a bit difficult to make a comment that has not been made by all the other people that have commented before me, I will just add that this is amazing , and I think that this is without any doubt the best picture of Louise Brooks I have seen, Its stunning.
A lovely portrait of a fascinating character. Fearless, she defied studio heads, personified the most creative decade of the last century, created a style that compels to this day, performed one of the finest pieces of acting in film history with 'Pandor's Box', almost drank herself into oblivion and recreated herself as a perceptive critic and essayist of the medium which threw her out with the garbage. Truly splendid.
Absolutely amazing! Can I ask, what sort of mediums do you mix into the oil as you paint? I'm wondering how you make the paintings just pop out! Also, how long does it take you to complete a painting of this size? Thanks!
