I love this painting, all the elements work so well together. Love the feeling of movement from the folds of cloth and the figures hair. The beautiful use of colour with the different blues, creates a feeling of peace for me. The figures expression and graceful limbs portray emotion.I could go on forever about how great this painting is and how it evokes strong emotion from me. Could I ask, What were your thoughts when planning this painting and what did you want to acheive?
