a Biblical work, done in oil.
another one of my favorites .
My brother posed for Daniel. The fact that his name is also Daniel inspired me to make this picture.
Words can not describe how much i appreciate each and every one of your comments ! It warms the heart.
Because i'm quite busy with other things aside from deviantART i can not reply to each person individually ( although i wish i could) but i DO read them all.
In my scrabbook you can find a picture of the painting in real life , giving you an idea of the actual size and colors.
more will be added later , answering a few of the questions asked in the comments.
Did you do the lions from observation as well, and what of the background cave? If you do these things from your head... woah. Even if you don't- your oil paintings are spectacular, like looking at a photo.

Oooh, I love that story. You gotta wonder what it stemmed from though, assuming it came from an actual occurance. Oh well, either way, lovely work on the lions and overall detail. ^_^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
