With this painting I am refering to the Tale of 'The Ratcatcher of Hamelen.'
A story about a man that lured the rats away from the village by playing an enchanting melody on a flute.
But, even though some heartfelth music gets to be forgotten, doesn'"t mean it looses its magic!
Great thanks to Jimbosbabystock for her outstanding photographs!

I used my daughters face for this portrait to give it a more personal touch.

This is amazing! The simplicity of the image is awesome. I like the rich red hues and the layout and background really creates a nice atmosphere.

Very nicely presented.

Beautiful work of Art Christiane!

I love the soft reflected light framing your daughter's face, and the gentle curves traced out by her hair.
Everything is just right, right down to the two rats at the bottom. Look at them! Who would want to get rid of such cute little guys?

Thank you for bringing such beauty and charm to my morning.

Oh wow, I was hoping you'd release another painting soon. Fabrics are fantastic. I really love the tones and deep rich reds. The pattern on the background looks like a tedious job to paint. The mice look a little too bright, but that's probably just this rubbish monitor I have at work. Really fantastic work, as always!
